Today, the Municipal Police Authority unveiled their newest weapon in the war against crime in Nagoya. The vehicle (codenamed “My Hearty Bike”) is a zippy, 3-speed auto-controlled propulsion device utilizing a state-of-the-art aluminum and plastic manufacturing process.
Police authorities would not comment on the price of the research project but did show off some of the James Bond-style gadgetry it produced, such as the ear-drum piercing brakes used to thwart would-be evil-doers and a handy front-end luggage compartment capable of holding up to 15 onigiris for long stakeouts.
Police plan to equip officers citywide with the top-secret device to counter the recent alarming rise in umbrella thefts, jaywalking, and illegally parked bicycles.
