Luke Cleland, Dragonfly and The Jerks live at Shooter's
Hope
Some nights are about more than just music - they're about being together, finding our way back to what matters, and maybe discovering that hope sounds a lot like three bands showing up, hitting the stage, and giving the crowd everything they've got.
In this respect, we are in luck. On Sunday, Nov. 24, Shooter's well-trod stage offers exactly what we need - a night to let the noise fade and the music take over. Three local acts are bringing their hearts, their stories, and their raw energy to help us all remember what matters: community, hope, and the healing power of live music.
Whether you want to forget or to feel, to dance... or just breathe - this is your invitation to be part of something real.
No pretense, just raw and authentic rock'n'roll.
Luke Cleland
First up, Luke Cleland brings an intimacy that reminds us why we fell in love with music in the first place. Fresh from Sydney's shores, his guitar work weaves stories that feel like conversations with old friends - honest, unpretentious, and authentic. Drawing inspiration from Nick Drake and Eddie Vedder, Luke's songs speak to those quiet moments when we're trying to make sense of it all.
Dragonfly
Since 2016, these guys have grown from humble beginnings into something that matters in Nagoya's music scene. Their sound, crafted by Bob Vidler and his crew, carries echoes of Crowded House and The Police while telling their own stories. With their album "Guiding Lights" and regular plays on ZIP FM's Radio Orbit, they're proof that good music still finds its way through the noise.
The Jerks
The Jerks close out the night by bringing the kind of energy that reminds us why we love live music. These veterans of GC LIVE and The Plastic Factory know how to read a room and lift its spirits. Their mix of classics from The Beatles to the Chili Peppers, alongside their own carefully crafted originals, creates the perfect space to let go and just deal with life on our own terms.
