Nagoya's biggest Halloween bash is Oct. 26 at Mago and Live & Lounge Vio

The Halloween party competition is folklore amongst the international community in Nagoya. Over the years, it evolved from dodgy eikaiwa functions and drunken bar parties to serious, hand-to-hand combat between event organizers to see who could top the others with the best decor, performers, and, of course... the biggest crowd.

In years gone by, The Sexy Halloween and The Absolute Halloween were the top experiences - and that's what they were - you had to be there to witness the madness and the absurd lengths people would go to be THE PARTY of the season.

And then… COVID

After the Pandamnit hit, the thrills, chills, and fright-to-death promotions were gone – packed away with the bloody zombie nurse uniforms, glow-in-the-dark severed heads, and wristbands that let you into all the madness.

But when it finally lifted, something thrillingly SUPERNATURAL appeared…

The SUPERNATURAL HALLOWEEN!

Hosted by the popular SMALL WORLD event factory, the SUPERNATURAL HALLOWEEN became the new kid on the block. It outperformed the competition time and time again to earn its now legendary status as Nagoya's most exciting Halloween event.

That's because it offers everything in one venue: a wide range of incredible acts, stunning props, decorations, and the city's friendliest international community.

And this year, it's bigger… and SPOOKIER... than ever!

If there were ever a party that defined the word "extra," this would be it. An A-list of DJs headlined by B.O.M from Australia, live band karaoke, a drag show and dance showcase, along with interactive games and activities, all lined up to feed the feverishly thirsty crowd of some 500 punters that are expected to pack Mago and Live Lounge Vio in Shinsakae.

Headliner B.O.M
In Club MAGO, Aussie drum & bass icon B.O.M (Cameron Arnold) is headlining the party with his Japan debut, supported by some of the best DJs on the Nagoya club scene. Peep his bio if you dare, but fair warning: it reads like a glitched-out transmission from the future (Hint: If you didn't go to this party, it appears something must have happened to you!)

B.O.M has deployed his tracks on worldwide labels such as Atlantic Records, CruCast, Big Beat, Disciple, Buygore, Nuform, TMRW, Worstville, Hybrid Trap, and a number of independent releases - crushing the streams.

Supernatural Halloween is the official afterparty for the free event The TV Tower of Terror, taking place at Hisaya Odori Park from 17:00 ~ 20:00 (website)
