The Metro Club LBTQ Dance Party April 13

The Metro Club is Nagoya's longest-running international LGBTQ & friends dance party. On the second Saturday of every month, it brings together a fab, friendly, eclectic crowd for a night of music, dancing, and pure love at CLUB LOVERS:z in Shinsakae.

CHAOS & RIOT TOUR 2024: April 14 at Red Dragon

Featuring Radiots, Anger Flares, and The China Wife Motors. Audiences new to these acts will start by scratching their heads and then by banging them into the venerable walls of this now historic Nagoya live venue in Sakae.

The Takayama Spring Festival April 14 &15

The Spring Festival, in particular, is considered one of the most captivating of its kind in Japan. The city's vibrant culture permeates every aspect of the revelry, but the real treat are the unique Yatai (festival floats), which are centuries old, quite heavy, and difficult to maneuver.

Oppenheimer Now Showing in Japan

"Oppenheimer" has been hailed for its gripping portrayal of its titular character's inner turmoil. However, it has also faced criticism for omitting the harrowing experiences of Hiroshima and Nagasaki from the standpoint of those who endured the bombings.
