Looking for some old skool J-punk Rock? Head to Huck Finn, the grimy heartbeat of Nagoya's punk scene, where bands have been coming to unleash their fury on colliding bodies for decades.
This Sunday's gig is headed by The Ryders - a gritty punk act that has had so many lineup changes you'd think they were made of Scooby Snax.
The band had their indie debut, "Get Good Lovin," in 1987 when the ink-clad punk group blinded the Japanese live scene.
American audiences got a taste of these cats from Japan in the early 90s when they toured the West Coast and even ranked on the charts of American alternative FM stations.
Despite their age, the undercore scene coming up post COVID are picking up their scent.
So expect a thrash - or not.
