In an increasingly complex world, the power of women supporting women has never been more crucial. Dr. Avril Haye-Matsui, a respected community builder and empowerment coach, is leading a transformative workshop designed to help women harness their innate strengths and create meaningful change in their lives.
Drawing from her multicultural background and extensive experience in Japan, she brings a distinctive global perspective to her work. As a qualified therapeutic meditation coach and founder of Black Women in Japan (BWIJ), she has developed a holistic empowerment methodology that resonates with women from diverse cultural backgrounds.
"Like all of us, I have had my ups and downs," reflects Dr. Haye-Matsui, drawing from her own journey of personal growth. "There were many times in my life when I longed for guidance and a strong network of supportive women." This personal experience inspired her to co-found BWIJ, which has grown to over 4,000 members and fuels her passion for creating spaces where women can find strength in community. "I understand firsthand the transformative power of having a supportive circle of women in your life," she explains. "It's what drives me to create workshops where women can truly connect, share their experiences, and grow together."
Scheduled for Sunday, February 2nd, this free online workshop creates a safe and nurturing space where women from diverse backgrounds can explore their aspirations and challenge limiting beliefs. Conducted in English, the session welcomes women of all nationalities and cultures, reflecting a commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive communities.
The workshop focuses on helping participants tap into their natural resilience β a quality that women inherently possess but often overlook. Through guided exercises and meaningful discussion, attendees will learn to recognize and nurture their resilience, transforming it into a source of personal power and growth.
The two-and-a-half-hour session encompasses several key areas: setting intentional goals aligned with personal values, releasing fear-based limitations, embracing self-care practices, and building emotional resilience.
